GENERAL POLICIES
- Services: Paws for Love LLC agrees to provide pet sitting, dog walking and other applicable pet care services in a reliable, caring and trustworthy manner. We offer daily visits ranging from 30min to 1-hour, as well as, overnight stays.
- Visits: we will visit at the requested times as closely as possible. However, if we are caring for multiple pets, the times may be shifted a little to accommodate our clients. We will do our very best to arrive at the appointed times. Client agrees to notify Paws for Love LLC of any concerns within 24 hours of completion of services.
- Payment: Client agrees to pay all charges accrued for services rendered. Client understands that payment is due 24 hrs prior to the time of the commencement of services.
- Returned Checks: Client will incur a $25 charge for each returned check in addition to any and all bank fees attributed to the returned check.
- Vaccinations: Client represents and warrants that pet(s) are currently vaccinated in accordance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations.
- Vet Emergency: Paws for Love LLC will follow the directions of the Veterinary Release Form in the case a pet should become injured or sick. Client will leave form in a visible location specified in your client profile
- Cancellation policy: When you book a service we save a spot for your pet. We also know plans change. Please cancel in time to avoid the following fees:
– Less than 24 hrs notice: 100% cancellation fee
– Less than 72 hrs notice: 15% cancellation fee
– More than 72hrs notice: Full refund – No Fee
– Our daily clients (once a day 5 days a week) are free to cancel anytime, except holidays.
– HOLIDAYS: Less than 7 days notice: 100% cancellation fee
Please keep in mind that holidays is our busiest times. We make a commitment to staff accordingly and reserve the care just for you. We strongly suggest you book ahead of time. If you do need to cancel, please do so with more than 7 days notice to avoid the cancellation charge above.
- Early Returns/Last minute Changes:It is not unusual for trip plans to change at the last minute. However, please understand that Paws for Love carefully schedules our time to best service you and our other clients. Therefore, cancellation fees apply for early returns or last-minute changes to pet care.
- Termination: Paws for Love LLC reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time if the Pet Sitter, in his/her sole discretion, determines that the Client’s pet(s) poses a danger to the health or safety of itself, other pets, other people or the Pet Sitter.
- Refuse Service: Paws for Love LLC reserves the right to refuse service to any client, at any time, for any reason.
- KEYS: Client expressly gives Paws for Love LLC the authority to employ a locksmith on their behalf and to promptly reimburse Paws for Love LLC for all costs incurred in the event of a malfunction of the lock, keys or automatic door opener. If you are not already doing so, consider letting Paws for Love retain your house key. In the event of an unexpected trip, you will be glad you did. Keys are kept in a secured lock safe at office, encoded for you protection, and DO NOT have your address on them. If you choose not to leave a key with us, picking up and returning your keys requires two extra trips and will be an $12 charge per trip.
- Inclement weather or a natural disaster, the Client authorizes Paws for Love LLC to use reasonable judgment for the care and well-being of Client’s pet(s) and residence. Paws for Love LLC will make reasonable efforts to maintain service during these conditions but reserves the right to adjust the schedule of service based on the sole discretion of the Pet Sitter. The care we provide to your pets and their safety is of primary concern but please understand safety for our sitter. The inclement weather plan will be as follows: 1) Every effort will be made to drive to your home; 2) The service schedule may be changed, interrupted, or altered due to circumstances; 3) If is not possible to drive safely to your home, your emergency contact will be notified, 4) You will be notified that the above mentioned contingency plan has been activated. Please help us in having a neighbor with a key on your emergency contact list.
- Supplies: Client is responsible for supplying the necessary equipment and supplies needed for the care of their pet(s) including, but not limited to, a sturdy, well-fit harness or collar and leash for walks or in case of emergencies, pet food, medications, identification tags, litter boxes, cat litter and cleaning supplies. Client authorizes any purchase of necessary for the satisfactory performance of duties. Costs of all purchases and related service fees will be reimbursed to Paws for Love LLC with 14 days.
- Pet Pictures: Client authorizes the use of pet(s) pictures on website and social media materials for promotional purposes.
- Additional Pet Care Assistance and Other Scheduled Services:We all want our pets to have all the love and attention they deserve, but please be advised that if there are other persons entering and leaving your home, Paws for Love cannot be held liable for any damages or problems that may arise as a result. Please inform us at the time of the consultation or booking of anyone who may have access to your home while you are away. This includes cleaning services, repair people, friends, family and neighbors. Paw for Love does not accept liability for other persons who will be in your home during pet care services.
- Medications: Paws for Love will attempt to administer medications as directed but cannot be held responsible for complications that arise as a result. For example, excessively shy cats with medical problems can be a serious risk. If you have such an animal, this must be thoroughly discussed. Under no circumstances Paws for Love will care for pets with any form of contagious illness. This is for the safety of other customers. If Love for Paws pet care provider is bitten or exposed to any disease or ailment received from the client’s pet(s) which has not been properly or currently vaccinated, the client will be responsible for all costs and damages that may incur.
- Privacy Policy: All of your information will be kept private and confidential. Paws for Love LLC respects you entrusting us with the care of your home and loving pets. Paws for Love does not share, market or sell any of your personal information. We do recommend that you inform a trusted neighbor that while you are away, Paws for Love will be caring for your pets and your home.
